Property Reservation
Once you have viewed a property and you have decided you want to take it, the next step couldn’t be simpler. All you need to do is fill out an application form (see Downloads) and pay the fee of £50 per application (non-refundable) and pay the deposit of a month’s rent (amount dependent on the property you have taken) then the property will be reserved for you. Payments can be made by debit card over the telephone or in person at the office.
Students looking for a property for the next academic year can come in any time from January onwards to pay a deposit for the following September. Student tenancy’s run for 12 months with rental payments being made by Direct Debit over 9 months, or you can pay the whole year upfront with a discount of 5%. Private tenancies run for either 6 or 12 months.
Tenancy contracts need to be individually signed by each of the tenants and the first month’s rent is payable before you collect the keys and move in. The first month’s rent can be paid by debit card and thereafter by Direct Debit.
